Do you bathe morning, evening, or both?

I bathe before bed every night. It keeps my sheets clean all week until they're washed again.  I'm sensitive to chemicals and feel that my hair is like an antenna that picks up pollutants from the air all day long, wherever I go.  I prefer to sleep without all the dirt from the day in my hair and have clean skin and sheets to sleep in.  I feel that evening bathing keeps my allergies down and reduces my chemical sensitivity.  What do you do?

I used to bathe in the morning and night also to keep my sheets clean. Plus, it just felt great to do away with all of the dirt from the day, especially during summertime.

But I stopped because I don't have as much time and energy at night anymore. Sometimes I just crash at the end of the day.

My mother is also a night bather (showerer). I think she does it to save her time in the morning and also to help her unwind.

I usually shower in the mornings to get me going. I shower at night only if I workout after work. Your point about keeping the sheets clean is a good one. I guess I'm just not that particular. PLUS (and this is probably a reason why I don't shower at night), my hair takes FOREVER to dry and if I go to bed  with a wet head,  I wake up looking like the bride of Frankenstein, with kinky bizarre curls sticking up every which way.

So I guess I shower in the morning mainly for vanity reasons. : )

At night. Started doing so years ago when i had a long commute and less time in the a.m., but kept with it years later when that's no longer an issue. At the same time, i stopped blow drying my hair and always sleep on it towel-dried.

Depends on the day...

When I had shorter hair and an oilier scalp, I showered in the morning - every morning - to look even remotely presentable.  Baths were an evening relaxtion thing and weren't every day.  I couldn't wake up without it.

Now, I don't need to wash my hair as often, so I often combine both procedures in the evening - quick shower for the hair, which is quite long, followed by a nice bath that includes something that smells lovely being added to the water.  I'm finding that I can, in fact, wake up in the morning without a shower.  Taking that relaxing time for myself in the evening is, however, more and more important.

I usually bathe in the morning, but when it is pollen season I bathe at night to get all of the pollen out and not sleep with it at night.  Also, taking a bath at night is wonderful!

I do both--mainly becuse I do AM chi and it leaves me sweating. I also like to bathe in the evening to unwind. It's good to find a good mostureizer -My skin tends to dry out after a shower.

I guess it depends on my day. I like showers in the morning, they wake me up and energize me and make me feel pampered. I have a little window in the bathroom too that I open to hear the birds singing and watch the sun come up. But then, it's not unusual for me to take another one at night after I've been running around outside or if I've worked out. It took me a long time to realize that was part of my night-time allergy problem, when I didn't shower before bed. Sometimes though I change just my pillow cases mid-week because I find the fresh smell helps me sleep. It's funny how I can take a shower in the morning and it energizes me and I can take one at night before bed and it relaxes me and how my body just instantly knows which is which! LOL

I usually shower in the AM and then maybe once again if my workout ends up being mid-day instead of first thing in the morning.

My morning shower is what really gets me going. I'll even sprinkle some eucalyptus or grapefruit essential oil around the shower to get the warm steam nice and vibrant.

I used to take two showers per day - once in the morning and once at night... but I came realize it's important to conserve our resources now... so I only splurge with an evening shower or bath every now and again.

I do LOVE my hydro therapy.

Used to bath at night as it was relaxing but now i do both. It helps loosen up my muscles to have a hot shower in the morning and warm them up.

A quick shower at night to rinse off or a bath a couple times a week to shake the dust off keeps my sheets clean and my jammies. It also refreshes me for the evening to relax.

Answering Your Questions About “Organic”
